Weighted reborn dolls UK: compare weight, size and feel
Compare weighted reborn dolls using Lola’s listed weights, materials and sizes. Find a comfortable doll to hold, from lighter minis to substantial silicone models.
Compare the dolls in this guide
How do you choose a weighted reborn doll?
Compare the weight in kilograms, the body construction and the length together. “Weighted” describes a substantial feel; it does not identify a material or a particular weight. A smaller doll is not always lighter than a larger one. Start with a weight you can comfortably lift and support.
Start with the number, not the adjective
Words such as heavy, lifelike and weighted can mean different things on different listings. A recorded weight gives you something useful to compare. Check whether the number describes the doll itself, one doll in a set or the complete parcel. Packaging weight is not a substitute for doll weight.
Our comparison below draws from individual Lola listings. Mini Sophia is listed at 1.3 kg and Amelia at 2.5 kg, while Riley is listed at 3.8 kg. Those are quite different objects to lift even though Amelia and Riley are both 18 inches long.

Photos are shown at different scales. Compare the measurements, and check each product’s complete construction and contents.
Material changes the experience
A full body silicone doll has a different construction from a doll with a fabric torso and vinyl limbs. Both can have a substantial feel. The word weighted does not tell you whether the torso is fabric, silicone or vinyl, and it does not establish what filling, if any, has been used.
Compare the complete body description alongside the number. If you care about how the head or limbs move when supported, ask about that exact model rather than expecting every doll of the same material to move identically.
Compare dolls by their listed weight
These examples show why length alone cannot tell you how a doll will feel. The size and weight shown for twin sets are per doll.
Compare sizes, weights and body types
| Doll | Construction | Length | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| Riley | Full body silicone | 18 in / 45.7 cm | 3.8 kg / 8.4 lb |
| Esme | Full body silicone | 18 in / 45.7 cm | 3.2 kg / 7.1 lb |
| Mini Sophia | Full body silicone | 13 in / 33.0 cm | 1.3 kg / 2.9 lb |
| Bonnie | Full body vinyl | 20 in / 50.8 cm | 1.3 kg / 2.9 lb |
| Phoebe | Cloth body with vinyl head and limbs | 24 in / 61.0 cm | 1.5 kg / 3.3 lb |
| Ezra | Cloth body with vinyl head and limbs | 26 in / 66.0 cm | 2.5 kg / 5.5 lb |
Choose for the way you will hold it
Think about lifting the doll from its resting place, changing clothes and carrying it between rooms. A weight that feels pleasant for a brief cuddle may become tiring during a longer session. If holding comfort matters most, make that the first shortlist criterion.
At home, lifting a familiar object of approximately the listed weight can help you picture the effort involved. It will not reproduce the doll’s shape or weight distribution. Support the actual doll’s head and body together and follow its handling instructions.
Size and weight can point in different directions
Bonnie is a 20-inch vinyl doll listed at 1.3 kg, while the smaller 18-inch Amelia is listed at 2.5 kg. A longer doll can therefore be lighter. Use the comparison table to find the combination you prefer rather than treating mini, newborn and toddler labels as weight bands.
For a display, check length and the available space. For regular holding, compare the total weight and construction. For dressing, check body measurements and garment openings as well. These are separate decisions, even when one doll meets all three needs.

Make a shortlist you can actually compare
Choose two or three dolls with a similar expression and compare their recorded weight, length and body construction side by side. Then open the product pages for photographs, included items and current availability. If the weight is missing or a particular movement matters to you, ask us before ordering.
Your questions, answered
Does weighted mean silicone?
No. Weight and body material are separate specifications. Read the complete construction description.
Is the heaviest doll the most realistic?
Realism is personal. Expression, proportions, finishing and how comfortably you can hold the doll matter too.
Are twin weights for the whole set?
Lola’s size and weight labels for sets are per doll. Check the set contents on its product page.
